Mental Illness Support Groups

 in the Grand Forks Area

Depressive and Bipolar Disorders Support Group - meets from 6 to 7 pm the first and third Monday of each month, Holy Family Catholic Church, Meeting Room 2, 1018 17th Avenue South. 

Peach of Mind - Schizophrenics Anonymous - support group for individuals with schizophrenia and related disorders, 7 - 8 pm every Wednesday, Prairie Harvest Human Services Foundation, 930 North 3rd Street. To arrange a ride, call 795-9143 before Noon on Wednesday. 

Project Shine - Support and Hope for Individuals Needing Encouragement - support group for Parents and Children with mental, emotional or behavioral disorders. Meetings held last Monday of each month from 6:30 - 8 pm in the First Season Community Room in Purpur Areana. Information: Cindy at 775-9673.

NAMI - National Alliance for Mentally Ill, Support Group - a montly support group for families who have a family member with mental illness and also a support group for people who have mental illness. Each support group will be from 7 - 8:30 pm the second Tuesday of every month in the Stadter Center, Grand Forks.
