About Us

Prairie Harvest Mental Health has been providing permanent supportive housing and community-based mental health wellness, recovery-based services and employment in Grand Forks, ND since 1992. Over the years we have been able to adapt to the changing requirements surrounding mental health wellness and recovery.

 

Prairie Harvest Mental Health is a private non-profit organization that is classified as a 501 (c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service. We are governed by a Board of Directors consisting of knowledgeable, caring professionals who volunteer their time to ensure we operate at the highest standards. We are committed to partnering with other health professionals in Grand Forks to provide community-based services designed to fit individual needs and wants.

Quality of life is greatly enhanced through improved living environment, access to services and programs, and the opportunity for employment.

 

What are our goals?

  • To help improve the quality of life for consumers.

  • To expand housing choices.

  • To increase employment opportunities.

  • To incorporate peer-support in agency programming.

  • To educate the public to a better understanding and acceptance of mental illness and other forms of human needs.

  • To reduce stigma for individuals with serious mental illness.

  • To encourage community involvement and support for community-based programs.

  • To expand delivery of our services to rural communities.
